Privately owned, Maviprod society, with its headquarters in Reghin, Pandurilor Street, no.74 was founded on 1st of April 1993 by Oltean family, the main characteristic of the company being the commercialization of spare parts for forestry and agricultural machines.

Through the quality of services and respect towards our clients, the company grew constantly and this allowed us to enlarge our products and services range, adding industrial machines as well.

Starting with 1998 MAVIPROD is the main shareholder of IRUM, a well-known company with a tradition of over 60 years as a sole manufacturer of forestry tractors – Skidders, front loaders’ manufacturer and other equipment for wood processing and exploiting.

The ambition and the enterprise spirit led us to become the legal representative of Perkins in Republic of Moldova in 2008. In 2010 Maviprod becomes sole Perkins distributor and authorized FG Wilson in Hungary.

Starting with 1st of March 2015, Maviprod is part of the worldwide authorized Atlas Copco distributors, facilitating the contact between Atlas Copco equipment and the local clients.

At MAVIPROD, integrity and responsibility are at the core of everything we do. We are fully committed to complying with all applicable international sanctions and export control regulations.

We do not supply products, information, or technology to destinations, individuals, or entities that are subject to sanctions. This includes, but is not limited to: Iran, Russia, Belarus, territories within Ukraine not controlled by the Ukrainian government, North Korea, Syria, Cuba, and any other country, region, or territory restricted under applicable laws. We also prohibit the use of our products for the production or proliferation of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons, and certain military applications.

As part of our strict compliance policy—including our zero-tolerance policy on Iran—MAVIPROD prohibits any supply of products or technology in violation of these principles, regardless of any licenses or government approvals that may be available.

We work closely with our partners to ensure full compliance throughout the distribution chain. This includes proactive risk screening, identifying red flag indicators, and the signing of an annual compliance certification. We encourage the immediate reporting of any suspected violations.

Respect for legal requirements and international standards is a fundamental pillar of our global business operations.

Future developments: Since 2015 we started the construction of a new premises on a surface of approximately 5000 m².
